IV./2.2.: Description of the preparation
17.5 cm long, 13 cm wide puerperal uterus with adnexes, with a 3.2-centimetre-long cervical part. The uterine cavity is dilated to 8.5 x 3.5 x 0.5 cm. Its wall is 2.6 cm thick, with a haemorrhagic-thrombotic internal surface, which is uneven in parts in a detritus-like manner. Foetus-foetal parts are not present in the uterine cavity. The cervix is 6.5 centimetres in diameter, with a dilated lumen (2 cm). The vaginal stump found on the preparation is also wide.
