III./2.2.: Description of dissection
|

A round-shaped part of the gastric wall, with the biggest diameter of 11 cm , with preserved mucosal puckering.
A spherical tumor with a diameter of 15 cm is located under the intact mucosal layer, accreted within the wall layers. It is growing outward, its surface is tuberous, the margins are exquisite, its touch is compact and resilient, and the colour is greyish-white. On the cut surface the tumor shows a zigzag-shaped, necrotic, 10 x 9 x 2 cm cave in the center
