The aim of the course is to make the students familiar with neurovascular pathology. During the course, the students will have an opportunity to learn the quickly most recent achievements in the diagnostic and therapeutic modalities as well as the up to date medical practice, illustrated by case presentations. Minimally invasive treatment of hemorrhagic stroke gained broad acceptance in the past decades. Endovascular thrombectomy became routine procedure in the treatment of large vessel occlusion ischemic stroke within recent years. This technique is quickly changing the practice of storke treatment worldwide. Having those achievements, the capability of fast and precise understanding and diagnosis of neurovascular disease became crucial in the everyday medical practice. By completion of the course, the students will be capable of establishing and interpreting the diagnosis of the most common neurovascular diseases.
