I./2.2.: Description of dissection

A brain weighing 1450 g. Convolutions (gyri) are flattened and grooves (sulci) are thinned on its bottom surface. There is a fresh hematoma in ventricles I-IV., which dilates and fills them out like a moulding. The hematoma originates from a parenchymal bleeding 5.5 cm in size, located at the antero-lateral border of the left lateral ventricle, causing parenchymal damage.
