II./2.2.: Description of the preparation

összegzés

Uterus without its adnexal organs, weighing … grams, of … x … x … centimetre. The cervix is … cm long. The surface of the vaginal portion is smooth, the cervical opening is transversal, the endocervical canal is moderately wide and its orientation is straight. The body of the uterus is gap-like, … cm long, its mucous membrane is evenly 0.2 cm thick. Its run is slightly curvy. The curves are caused by several (together around 15-20) solid, round, egg-shaped, yellow-white muscle tumours/nodes in the muscular wall of the corpus. The nodes have a distinct border and a whirly fibrous structure. Some of the nodes are located directly under the serous membrane, emerging, protruding it in different degree. Tumour nodules enlarge the corpus and deform it grossly, giving the organ a look similar to a potato sack.
